Karla Sead

Karla is the Administrative Account Clerk for the City of Stamford, where she has been employed for 24 years. An active community and church member, Karla has served in many capacities. At her church, she is a member & former Choir President, Coordinator of the Imani Liturgical Dancers, Missionary Society member, former Youth Class Leader, served as Anniversary Day chairperson and Women's Day program chairperson. As a school volunteer and supporter, she has served in many different roles at the Waterside School including Parent Association Board member, Class Parent, Admission Ambassador, co-founder of school store, alumni parent advisor. She was also involved at Reach Prep as an Admissions Ambassador as well as a strategic plan volunteer. Karla continued her school engagement as a St. Luke’s parent and has been actively involved in the Parents’ Association as the Mosaic co-chair (3yrs), nomination committee member (2yrs), and Spring Gathering planning committee. She has contributed to the Development team as a member of the Senior Gift Committee (class of 2019 and 2020). She was a member of the St. Luke’s Board’s Head of School Transition Committee and is currently a participant in the Facilities Master Plan effort. Karla and her husband, Dion, live in West Haven and are the proud parents of Kyla, Madison (‘19), Raven (‘20) and Myles (‘23). The Seads have been an active part of the St. Luke’s community since joining in 2012.
