Head coaches Brinley Ehlers and Tish Tregellas are thrilled with the dedication and enthusiasm demonstrated by their players, setting a strong foundation for the season ahead.
The team's preseason was marked by rigorous training sessions and a trip to Universal Studios in Orlando, 佛罗里达, for warm-weather training. With a talented roster, several players have already distinguished themselves. Neuner returns as a formidable force at #1 singles, while sophomore Maddy Alecia impressed in 佛罗里达 at #2 singles. Senior Izzy Levi showcased her skills at #1 doubles, contributing to the team's strength and depth.
The Storm added Freshmen Charlotte Mannix and Daphne Antonioli, along with eighth grader Sophie Seaver. The coaching staff is excited to see what they can achieve this season.
With a history of success, the Storm enters the season with ambitious goals. Coach Ehlers emphasizes, "We are defending NEPSAC Champs and hope to defend our title. We want to be competitive in every match, striving for excellence individually and collectively.”
Despite their strengths, the team acknowledges the challenges ahead, particularly in the competitive FAA league. With a mix of determination and skill, they aim to navigate these obstacles and build upon last season's successes.
