Summer at St. Luke's: Alumni Return to the Hilltop

Alumni Office
This Hilltop was brimming with St. Luke's alumni who returned to join our Summer at St. Luke's program. Over thirty alums were counselors in our day and sports camps. Frank "Bubba" Henson '74,  the cherished English teacher and alumnus who retired to Florida in 2019, returned to teach the Summer at St. Luke's College Essay Workshop. Tasia Courts '20, a recent graduate of UVA, took part in St. Luke's August Institute, a workshop designed to equip new 5th- 12th-grade teachers with the skills to create inspiring and effective classrooms.
We're excited to have Tasia staying on the Hilltop this year as a Fellow in the history department teaching American Studies and serving as the head coach for JV Volleyball.
As summer draws to a close, we look forward to this upcoming school year's new beginnings.
