The St. Luke’s Faculty & Staff were treated to an afternoon of beach vibes on Thursday, June 9 at the beloved annual appreciation luncheon. “Surf’s Up, School’s Out” was the theme, and faculty and staff delighted in delicious surfside food including deviled egg sailboats, delicious beach skewers, carved baby shark and sea turtle watermelons filled with fruit, and coconut shells with refreshing frozen sorbet. The Mega Prizes were back in full force with fun prizes like a solo stove, kayaks, and bikes, as well as a big screen TV. Thanks to generous donations from parents, we were excited to also offer relaxing stays at homes in Jupiter, FL, Nantucket, and Lake Placid.
The room was full of laughter and cheering as everyone enjoyed each other's company while eating the delicious feast, playing games, and winning MEGA prizes! Without a doubt, all of the faculty and staff felt the collective hug and gratitude from all of us. Many thanks to our amazing parent community for helping to make this wonderful event possible. Thank you especially to Kimberly Birmingham, Juliet Howe, and Ashley Prymas for orchestrating this spectacular celebration.
