St. Luke’s Welcomes New Parents and Guardians to the Hilltop

Mary Kate DeRienzo, Admissions Associate
The parents and guardians of new St. Luke's students gathered on the Hilltop with mentors and school administrators on August 31 for the annual New Parent BBQ. Excitement about the upcoming school year abounded as parents enjoyed a night of conversation over dinner. Head of School Dr. Mary Halpin Carter shared words of welcome and expressed a kinship with new families as they navigate their first year at St. Luke's together. With the backdrop of a beautiful sunset over the Athletic Center, parents said goodbye to friends old and new and made plans to reconnect on campus the following week at Orientation.

Thank you to the St. Luke's Parents' Association for their leadership and meticulous event planning, especially Co-Chairs Kris Toohey, Meghan Rosow, and Lia Coleman, and Parents’ Association Co-Presidents Liz DeFilippo and Suzanne Sherter.
